The Alderwood Manor Heritage Association would not exist were it not for the thousands of hours of our volunteers. New volunteers are always welcome to assist the AMHA in everyday tasks, ranging from Cottage Hosts, helping with collections, fundraising, clerical and much more. Maybe you have a specialized skill and would like to share that with us.

As with any non-profit organization we rely on the generosity of the community. Throughout the year we have several fundraising activities. In addition we rely on cash donations. These donations are necessary to operate the Alderwood Manor Heritage Cottage, for outreach and education programs, collections management and general operations. AMHA is incorporated as a non-profit 501c(3) Tax Exempt Organization as described in section 501c(3). It is affiliated with the League of Snohomish County Heritage Organizations, the Washington Trust For Historic Preservation, Washington Museum Association, and American Association for State and Local History.
